About
Engineers, fabricators and event crews under one roof
BAFA Tents & Engineering exists because clients were tired of coordinating a cutter, a machinist, a welder and a tent supplier for one job. We do all of it, and we own the outcome.
Our story
Built on repeat work, not advertising
Most of our jobs come from clients who came back. That only happens when parts fit, welds hold and tents arrive on the morning they were promised.
We work from drawings, samples or a description over the phone. Where a design will be expensive or fragile to manufacture, we say so before the material is cut and propose an alternative that costs less and lasts longer.
Our workshop covers cutting, forming, machining, welding and finishing, with a dedicated hire store for tents, chairs, tables and flooring. Site teams handle delivery, installation and breakdown so you deal with one point of contact.

How we work
From enquiry to installed job
- 01
Brief & review
You send drawings, a sample or the event details. We check feasibility and material.
- 02
Costed quote
A clear quote with material, process, lead time and any option that reduces cost.
- 03
Production
Cutting, forming, machining and welding scheduled against your deadline.
- 04
Inspect & deliver
Critical dimensions checked, finished, then delivered or installed on site.
What we hold to
Standards that don't move
One workshop, complete job
Cutting, bending, machining, welding and finishing under one roof - no chasing three suppliers for one part.
Engineers on the floor
You speak directly to the people who will make your part, so problems are solved before material is cut.
Deadlines treated as specifications
Breakdown and event work is scheduled around your shutdown or event date, including nights and weekends.
Measured, inspected, documented
Critical dimensions are checked and recorded before dispatch so parts fit the first time.
Milestones
Founded
Started as a two-bay fabrication shop serving local contractors and event organisers.
Hire division
Added tents, chairs and flooring after clients asked us to cover their events, not just build the frames.
CNC investment
Brought plasma profiling, milling and turning in-house to control quality and lead times.
Today
A full-service workshop handling design input, production, finishing, delivery and installation.
Proof
What clients say after the job
Feedback from completed fabrication, repair and event jobs.
“They reverse-engineered a conveyor guard from a bent original and installed it over one weekend shutdown. We restarted Monday morning on schedule.”
“Two marquees, raised flooring and 1,200 dressed chairs went up in 36 hours. The crew handled the venue's sloping ground without being asked twice.”
“We send drawings and get a costed answer the same day, with the material substitutions explained. That is why they keep the work.”
